About

*Disclaimer*
The opinions expressed on this blog are personal opinions and not those of the Girl Scout organization. Some of the material on this blog may be considered controversial, and this project was not officially endorsed by GSUSA (Girl Scouts of the United States of America).

We are Girl Scout Cadettes who recently finished a Journey (badgeset) that focused on identifying issues in the media and finding constructive solutions to those issues.
We made this blog so we can speak up to issues, stereotypes, and other problems in the media that bother us. We also want to draw attention to the areas where media has improved and highlight positive areas in the media. We want to share our opinions, inspire others, and raise awareness of issues in our society that may not have the full attention that they need in order to change.

Topics we've written about thus far and are likely to write about again in the future include, but are not limited to-
Stereotypes
Feminism
Representation issues
Socioeconomics
Feminism(I feel like this needs to be mentioned again because over two-thirds of our posts are about feminism)
Sexism
Gender equality
Animal rights

If you have any suggestions for an issue you'd like to see covered, we'd love to hear from you!
